Individual therapy, family, and couples therapy and counseling are typically 45 to 50 minutes long. Academic coaching and personal coaching are 20 minutes long on a weekly basis, after the initial 50-minute intake and planning.

Currently, our fees are $110 for each 45-50 minute therapy, counseling, or consultation session. The fee for the coaching is $75 for the initial intake and goal-setting appointment that lasts 45 to 50 minutes. Weekly coaching appointments are $25 for 15-minute sessions. You can request shorter or longer sessions if you think that will better suit your needs, and the fee is pro-rated depending upon the amount of time you want.

Understand that considerable time is invested in your case beyond the actual session when you are working directly with us. We summarize what was accomplished in each session and review those notes before the next session, so we will be fully prepared and won’t waste your working time with refreshing our memory. We also look at current research and models for change that may be beneficial to you. Time is spent developing homework assignments and collecting information that may be helpful to you.

Fees for evaluations vary considerable due to the amount and type of information needed in an evaluation. Currently, our fees are as follows:

Adult evaluation for ADHD starts at $250
Child or student evaluation for ADHD or other behavioral/emotional concerns starts at $400 (includes full assessment of intelligence, academic achievement, adaptive behavior and social-emotional functioning)
Evaluation for learning disabilities starts at $800 (includes full assessment of intelligence, cognitive processing, academic achievement, and social-emotional functioning)
Fees for Custody evaluations are negotiated individually based on the dictates of the court system

With regard to evaluations, many hours are spent planning the assessment battery to get the best information, scoring test measures, interpreting and comparing results, and writing a thorough report with solution-focused recommendations. All evaluations for learning disabilities meet the Board of Regents criteria to access LD services at the post-secondary level.

Evaluation for area DFCS referrals that are covered by Medicaid will be billed directly to Medicaid and assignment is accepted.
